A poem or song would naturally fit this scene, which is a complete story in itself ... lovely

I have a real aversion to snow, it can be pretty but man, I worked way up north six years every winter from Dec to spring break up around April. As far up as the border of the NW Territories in BC, -40 in the frozen Muskeg can't stand Snow ever since.

wow, lenord worked up near the NW Territories---I don't know ANYONE who's been near the NW Territories. (I can understand why he doesn't like snow---they get SNOW up there, as in MAJOR snow.) (I went to the Hudson Bay years ago, during winter: Man, they had SNOW. And the houses were on stilts, because the ground was too hard to hold foundations.) Anyway, your blue here is beautiful. It's like dusk or early dawn, and with the snow it's very peaceful. I also like the solo lantern hanging from a holder. This reminds me of the many photos when you were posting photos a lot of the time...your way with zeroing in on a moment or detail was one of your signatures. I love the hue in this, it feels very restful and inviting. And you have some light on the lower portion of that snow clump---like there's a light below the photo. A terrific little 'revelation'. (That clump looks like a furry animal about to leap.) A really sweet photo, Barb, sweet like fine nectar...

(we just had a snowstorm, and it was gorgeous today...tomorrow, the city will turn it into gray slush...ay ay ay...)
