Art is done. I'll add text tomorrow some time, and update. I'm pretty bushed, but hey! Two pages in one day ain't too bad!
I'll be creating it's own gallery, and probably doing one over on devianart as well. I haven't checked over there in several weeks, but... I figure it's a good place to share, right?
I imagine just one word on this page, probably in the middle box. "NOOOOO!"
Then maybe a box on the upper corner of the bottom box with how long it's been since the previous panel. Something like that, anyway.
Getting a pretty good system down, and now that I've done a few more COMPLICATED panels, I think some variance will work out. For the middle box, for instance, I reduced the amount of colors in my colormap. In the top one I added additional lighting. Then the bottom is done in four layers.
Bed/room > Character and limb > Outline > Blanket
I thought of having it when she first wakes up after the attack, but decided to push the timeline just a bit. I can always explore that in a flashback. I also had no real way to fake the missing arm easily. These models are hollow, lol. There's also a several lack of bandages for genesis 2 figures. Might have to go into previous gens to see what there is. I remember a decent set of them for 4th gen, and with the styling it should work out all right to use even older assets, lol.
Feeling it out, and letting the story occur as it will.
The model for Kyna by the way is FW Nikki, with the Genesis 2 version of "Apple" hair. The arm is M.A.G. 2 from Sickleyield. Used a dforce blanket here. The biggest lack I have, really, is poses for Genesis 2. I'm used to having more options to start from, lol. But, it's still going pretty quickly so long as I don't get too sidetracked!

Cool second page...the green in the second panel is a little bright but i'm guessing your seeing that as a mocha-brown...great start...looking forward to more...!!
In that case, I reduced my color map for IMPACT. Again, I'm rather fond of Cam Kennedy's stuff. :) It's more that dark greens and browns tend to look the same/interchangeable. Dark orange and green as well. I did one of those colored dot tests and out of 20 could only see a number in two of them.

As I see this, I'm feeling this is some time after the attack / confrontation, and she's waking up after (another) dream-flashback of the incident. Her mech left arm awaits on the nightstand next to her bed.
It's really difficult to pull off certain effects with just the tools available in either DAZ or Poser at times. Having a graphics app like Photoshop or Gimp is essential IMHO.. I'll totally admit I'd be hosed without Photoshop for some of the stuff in my little tale.. LOL And yes - layers are your close friend!
Bandages are pretty much something you need to "paint" when someone gets banged up.. I'll very soon have to do a bit of that myself... No spoilers, though! 😁
Keep 'em coming - I'm really liking this style, my friend! 👍
