Description
Sorry for being absent. I have been busy with work and moving. This I painted while trying out Inktense travel set that was Scrawlrbox's August 2018 box. Inktense aren't excatly watercolor but ink in watersolutable format. Though once it dries on paper or fabric though... Challenge there was "false prayer" and well this tentacle being does land nicely under that category, though it most likely won't be approved since I didn't use paper included in the box. Tittle was loaned from Battle Beast's song. It was convinient that it was playing while I was posting it on deviantart. My biggest fear with traditional art supplies is that more they are used, they will run out. And it also has Chultchu and World of Darkness vibes into it. In case you wonder this being really does need to be symmetrical and it has to look alien and of course it has to have tentacles. x3 Hopefully you like.

Except for the antennae (Is that what they are?) this looks pretty much like a straight Cthulhu reference. It looks super sinister and cool.
I understand the symmetry in the figure, but I wonder if it was necessary to extend the same symmetry to the clouds in the background. It might add some more visual interest to break it there.
In my case yes. If there needs to be symmetry, everything has to be as perfect symmetry as possible. There's no other way around it. Also, though is that this being would have breathing system on both sides of it's head that would work similary as gills of sorts. Though against known rules of living beings, 99% symmetry.
