Description
Raquel is working her way through college as a singer. She hires out for Birthday and Anniversary parties, receptions, small clubs – basically anything that pays. Tonight a couple is celebrating their anniversary and wanted someone who would sing all their favorite tunes. Raquel’s boyfriend accompanies her on the piano and acts as bodyguard in case the client thinks the gig comes with extra benefits.

I know this scene well---and the "extras" where I worked were expected as much by the musicians as by the audience. (You guys probably know musicians well, but they can be a weeeeeee bit "rowdy"...) (I think that's the polite word...) You caught the lounge singer feel, she's sitting on the piano, she's wearing a slinky red gown (with dark red or purple shoes), the piano is a beautiful black grand, and her boyfriend is concentrating on the accompnaiment. I assume the listeners are in the foreground. I know these scenes well. Really well done, and true to life. Nice dark lighting too.
