Looks like the security engineer should have checked the main window of the large specimen container before transferring the "new guest" to the main laboratory... This scene brought my trusty old iMac almost down to it's knees (original render width is 3000 pixels wide). Thanks to "Scene Optimizer" he could handle the numerous textures...but don't ask for the total render time! ;)

What a fantastic scene! I can't even imagine the render time with all those transparent surfaces...

Actually I stopped the render at 55% after almost four days. 🙄 The Dfine filter (NIK filter collection available for free from Google!) in Photoshop helped a lot to fix most of the graininess though. 😇
