One step in the process of slimming down the "County" model to produce a Solomon's campaign version of HMAS Australia. The Royal Australian Navy's flagship was refitted in the late 1930s, giving her a leaner and hopefully meaner silhouette- unlike the classic lines of HMAS Canberra. She still has her torpedo tubes and catapault and the older style mainmast but her secondary armament is now 4x twin 4-inch guns and a pair of multibarrel pom-poms amidships plus more 20 mm Oerlikons. Unfortunately there is a real shortage of good closeups of her superstructure at this time in her career, so details are scant.
Modelled and rendered in Shade 10.5

Ships hulls can be tricky to model but this looks excellent. Nice Job!
