Description
Tribute to the Navy. Using Skypilot's excellent Essex aircraft carrier and Wildcat and Dauntless models. There are a couple of sailers on the deck played by Sid Rayven's excellent Dr. Morpheen. The bow wave and Hellcat were modeled in Rhino. UV mapping on the Hellcat was done in UV Mapper Classic.

I redid this one because the bumps and transparency did not get worked out properly on the last one.

Sorry I did not see the last one. Great pic. The Hellcat was the first plane with the new 2200hp wasp radial an awsome engine that was later fitted in tne corsair and the P-47. Great render of a great plane.
