Very wonderful pictures you bring us tonight. I wonder what it was like be here during the dust bowl. As Oklahoma blew away California inherited so many of the refugees.

You have a way with town shots...this has a feeling of being home and cozy and intimate...but at the same time there's a solace and empty space about it that reminds one that there's this big vast land around it. You caught a big blank wall (far left building), and another one on the right---with the "cash paid for gold and silver" sign---which always gives melancholy to town shots. Love the reddish undertone to the shot, too, and that big open Oklahoma sky. Evocative shot with beautiful light. You do these so well.
