Kat leans against the car and says to Juan, "You're going to have to do better than that. I risked my life stealing this car."
Knowing full well the value of a 1968 Nova SS, she was going to play him to see if he'd offer her what it is REALLY worth.
"You're killing me chiquita. That's all the cash I can afford on a heap like this," Juan whines.
His whining is a technique used in bartering in his culture. He figures he'd get the emotional side of Kat instead of trying to play on what he supposes to be her lack of knowledge on cars.
"Nah," Kat says to Juan, "quit acting like a chiquita yourself."
