I sorta accidentally did a series of renders.
All using clothing from Chasfh.
It started out with working on a good setup for vehicle-based pinups. And deviated a bit. Then I was making things shiny, and well.... I hope you enjoy this series.
Not as BIG as I usually do - it was meant to be a test for lighting and such. Hopefully ya'll get a kick out of it just the same.
This is using some boots Chasfh was gracious in producing for me, and "Oversized." I was curious to see what would happen if I put a metal texture on dforce cloth. I'm not unhappy with the result. Thing is, I wasn't entirely enthused with the end result on this one, so I started a second. Ended up changing the clothes for various reasons.... well, you'll see. I'll upload it next.
Kinda makes up for not using Rochelle quite as much lately, lol. Gotta put her through a proper photo shoot!
The vehicle is a model I found on Renderhub. It's pretty low poly. I only meant to use it to test lighting, since it's also nice and lightweight. I admit, it looks a little odd, but, well... I did four renders with it. (And a fifth with the Shark Jetbike!)
As usual, Khory_D's Vintage Enamel Shader Presets is my go-to for repainting vehicles. It's also used on the planes used in the environment. Rachel's clothes were reshaded using the "Mirror" shader and metal shaders from "Homestyle iray shaders 2" from the Daz store.

That's absolutely awesome! Who doesn't like shiny stuff?
As for the car, low poly it might be but yo know what, it reminds me of the open days at Ford my dad used to take us to as kids. Got to see all the mock up concepts made out of clay and bits of plastic, sprayed in shiny colours, and they looked a lot like that! Except they had wheels...
Lovely job with the shirt too. Just another look entirely!
Thanks! It's piquing my interest in trying my hand at some 3D modeling. Just as soon as I clear some time for it. And resist the temptation to just do another Daz render.
Five uploads in one day is a lot for me, but I do hope you appreciate them. Got to do something special for a special friend every now and then, right?

Low poly seems kind of realistic after looking at Elon Musks' truck :D Love the flow of the metallic fabric on the oversize, it looks like mylar and matches the floating charger--which is the most delightful grape color!

Both are looking quite sweet here! I know how those "test" ideas wind up being a series of renders all too well! Thank the Maker for external hard drives! LOL
