Description
Fenella enjoys reading by the pool while her pup cools off on the float (keeping a keen eye on those toys, lest they float too far away!).

Fenella is a character from my novel who previously appeared in Where’s the Magic Part 1 and Part 2
I ended up choosing a different pool for my earlier scene with Fehn and Vila, but I still wanted to do something with this neat Secluded Place pool, and this is what I came up with. The pool float I made is meant to resemble the kind made of closed cell foam and it has morphs to lower the middle a little or a lot. As with any of the items I make for my own renders, I’d be happy to put the pool float out as a freebie if anyone’s looking for such a thing!

Thanks for the comment! We used to have pool floats like this at the lake, and the Golden Retrievers loved to hang out on them (esp. after swimming out to get a ball), so I tried to capture the way I remember the dogs hanging across the floats. (I also looked up references for foam floats, of course!)

And when the pup is finished playing and shakes himself dry - Fenella will cool off too :-) I like the way the pup is concentrating on his toy - beautiful scene.
Indeed she will! Dogs always wait until they're within a few feet of a human before shaking vigorously :-). I thought about experimenting with ways of making the dog's fur look wet, but I'm just not good enough at Photoshop (yet?) and I have no idea how I would've done it in Poser!
