Description

I had the unexpected pleasure of watching the Eclosion of a Zebra Longwing yesterday. The nature center I visited has a small butterfly enclosure and there were rows of chrysalises catching the morning sun. Several of them were emerging and I focused on this one for a few shots. I had never seen the emergence of a butterfly live so it was a real treat.

there is a very nice butterfly place at Fair Park if you ever make it over to Dallas. superb capture and I have not seen the live emergence also
