Description

Daz Studio 4.12 Iray, Photoshop CS6, Luminar, Topaz Studio 2. Here's a thing I fiddled into some kinda shape. I meant to add a few fiddlybits and forgot and couldn't be bothered re-rendering it. Besides, I'll need to make some ship and flag patches (and the actual flags), and right now I don't have a clue. I also forgot her rainbow-star tattoo dadgummit. Oh well. Le Image and Le Story. Don't haul on the rope, don't climb up the mast, if you see a sailing ship, it might be your last. Get your civvies ready, for another run ashore, a sailor ain't a sailor, ain't a sailor anymore! excerpt from The Last Shanty by The Celtic Connection 1st Lt Ellen Bonaparte was born at 9:00 am sharp on March 4th 6620 CE on the world of Vainola in Tartu bay. Her parents were dock workers at the Kaali spaceport during the 2nd Halon war. They were both killed during a bombing raid late in 6636. Ellen had just turned 16. She signed in with the local air reserves, and was flight crew on an updated version of the same Chamberlain bombers Sarah Morgan Visherly flew in the first war. (By the time Ellen was 10, Sarah was a well known Commodore commanding the Allied fleets over Vainoila and Young Ellen followed every bit of news.) By wars end she was a rated pilot. A short post war working passage stint with an ALL ONE medical transport brought her to Memphis and the orbital habitat and shipyards of Wonderland. Ellen applied with the Merchant Militia Academy there on her war service ticket and was immediately accepted into the pilots academy. When Sarah came to the Shipyards of Wonderland with the Endurance in tow in '50, Ellen was star struck. As soon as the Visherly - Va Ortaugh company was founded Ellen signed on as a pilot. Sarah has her under her own wing, on her watch to keep an eye on the talented pilot and shape her career path. by '53, Ellen was fully rated with interstellar piloting and navigation. By '55 she passed the Lieutenant Commander's Course and was promoted to V&V partnership (for senior employees), and commissioned as a watch commander by 6659. When Sarah is commissioned as a Five Stars Alliance Space Marshal in 6662, Ellen becomes her personal pilot with full Aide de Camp status. For her part in Battle of Memphis, she will receive the Ships Valour Medal, and a personal Bronze star with combat star. Both are awarded by Sarah, at her commissioning as Space Marshal, and the re-commissioning of the Endurance as her personal flag ship. Ellen Adores Varahl Va Ortaugh even though she's very much on the lesbian end of things, and worships the ground Sarah, Varahl, and Kharsha walk on. Ellen Bonaparte has senior status with V&V Interstellar Ltd. with voting shares. She has no plans on leaving. She is a full member of All One, an interstellar aide and beings rights organisation with operations across the Five Stars Alliance. Sarah and V&V have signed on with the organization as a supporter, and offers them transport services when available. The Imaqe: It's 6652, and Ellen is given her first assignment shuttling work crews and supplies to and from The Endurance as it nears the completion of its refits and upgrades. This means she will be present at the commissioning ceremony of the historic ship as full crew. Ellen is on cloud 9. Someone has sent drone Emmie AI to see what she's up to. (Emmie also likes to visit people). And finally, you all know the drill. Keep this pandemic at bay and stay home when possible, maintain a distance of 2 hockey sticks* from each other, wear a mask, wash your hands and do not touch your face. As of Oct 29th, we have 5172 active cases, 322 deaths, and 622 cases were added ON Oct 29th. Stay safe folks. *Brooms, rakes, and snow shovels can also be substituted.

Super stuff, really detailed and well composed.

As for hockey sticks, I'm betting a shotgun would ensure at least two metre's distance. Not that I in any way condone the use of guns, but as we're clearly at the start of the zombie apocalypse (c'mon, all the signs are there, government figures replaced with bumbling shaggy wig-wearing clowns, a total failure to deal with the problems staring them in the face, and the sudden importance of conspiracy theories in the process for making policy), well, I for one feel I should be prepared. I'm already racking up experience by playing Doom just in case.

LOL, good point! A shotgun would certainly ensure proper social distancing. The Hockey Stick measurement was an actual thing put forth by our Prime Ministers office at the beginning of the pandemic.

My personal prep is playing Fallout 4. I even carry a shotgun.

Going through the check list. I'm sure the gold kush Vudu catnip and the crate of century old blood wine smuggled onboard will somehow get overlooked. Hey a girl has bills to pay... 💫
