Description
Just playing around as things slow down here and a friend wanted a Dragon picture. I whipped this up real quick and liked it enough to post. At first I was iffy about the transparancy of the left wing and not the right but figured it was realistic enough as the light would disipate after passing through the left. Really can't wait to get home and Upgrade my Vue to Xstream so I can render these through Maya.
After several requests I opted to open comments back up.

Man! That dragon looks spectacular against this sky, and the ground fog effect is great! The camera angle/pov and composition of pose and placement is dramatic, this also fills the frame very well and keeps the eye moving around it. I also like your border for the image- sort of the torn parchment look.

Wow, that is one spectacular dragon!! I love the composition of him/her sitting above the clouds. That is so aerie! I can almost hear the swoop of its gossimer wings. Very majestic, very awe-inspiring. Great colour palette, too. The green hues give it a real dusky feel; it forecasts the night and moonlight about to take over. :) Totally rocks!
