Description
A-6 Invader "Spirit of North Carolina"
The A-6 is the only bomber to serve in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam wars according to S.O.N.C.'s web site. It is powered be twin 2000hp Pratt and Whitney R-2800 radial engines.

Is "A-6" a Navy designation? Otherwise it looks like an A-26. Nice photos.

It is an A-26. A typo on my part when I cataloged it.

It was referred as a B-26 for a number of years after the war although it was designated A-26,not to be confused with the Martin bomber. I've seen this bird at Andrews AFB a few years back. This type was also seen as fire bombers in the movie Always.

Cool A/B-26. This type also flew in the Congo and the Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba.
