Description
Decided it was high time to do a new piece with my lady version of Turok! And I decided to go ahead and render it as a desktop.
Did this in two layers, and I wanted to light the character a little better. Had to go through it about 6 times before I had the layers figured out. The mesh for the arrows was catching extra light (creating a boxy outline), so I had to render them as part of the background layer.
Its nice to have an excuse to render up a T-Rex!
Outfit is a mix of Viking Handmaiden for G8F, Ritualist, and Advent Outiit for G8F, along with the quiver and a few arrows from Toxophilite for G8F.
I don't remember buying this little environment (Rocky Place), but I really like it. And it came with some nice settings, too.

That's just awesome. I love Turok (the first and second games, after that, well...), and this really evokes that mood.
I liked Rage Wars as well, and 3 isn't bad once you get into it. Evolution is pretty, and adds some nice flight levels. The Touchstone TiNO (Turok in Name Only) was... bad. Very bad.
The comics, I love. I have the big Dark Horse volume one, a few single issues I've found over the years, and several issues of the Valiant run. I love how he thinks his way through problems. It isn't a dynamic you get from the games. I'd love a reboot that stayed true to the comics. (Heck, I even have all four of the YA books that came out around Turok 2, lol.)
I wrote a fanfic back in the late 90s (I say it that way instead of saying WHEN I WAS NINE) that was about a female Turok. It's pretty bad, but it was around that time that I learned that I wasn't suited for writing fan-fiction, and I started writing my own work. My "version" of Turok is still something I might explore one of these days. At least, I always got render art!

Outstanding work. I used to read Turok when I was younger.
It's a great series. I got the first volume of the original, from when Dark Horse had the license and released those beautiful omnibus editions. Wish I would have purchased the rest then. Now that Dynamite has it... (Darn you Disney!) I have a few assorted single issues of the Dell years as well, and I think the first 10 of the Valiant run. I've also got Dark Horse's version (Too bad that didn't get a second run) and the first two that Dynamite did.
I did pick up the more recent Chuck Wendig stuff. The first collected volume. I won't be getting any more. He's a pretty terrible writer, and was an awful choice for Turok. (His version is an African-American in Chicago. Pretty much destroys everything that makes Turok, Turok. I could go on, but maybe I should stop, lol.)
I'm glad you like this piece! It makes me happy, so I like it, too.

Your new graphic has become really very beautiful! I want to tell you by this way, that I struggle with pain every day and still try to write comments as best I can. Unfortunately, many here (except for a few who read my fine prints) forget the suffering of others because probably everyone has his own package of worries to lug around in the Pandemic - Stay alert and healthy! (This is a copy/paste comment) 😘

Fantastic work on a fantastic scene! Looks like she's got quite a handful to deal with here.. The atmospheric haze really enhances the tension here - well done!

This one is exquisite. Your atmosphere is so very nicely done. There was so much drama and action going on that is fun to view. I think this one might be one of the best you’ve done this year. All in all a real and total joy to view.
