Description

Captured through the dirty window of a careening taxi in Beijing.

This is the life that people from the countryside all strive for, to leave the farms for a chance at the big time in the city. He might ride all night on his bike to bring in the produce, and then set up under a bridge in town, until the cops come along and roust him.

Still, the few yuan that he may collect in a day for his fresh dates give him the chance at something more than subsistence, even if he'll never have a shot at what they call China's "economic miracle." Unsustainable inequality, I call it.

Like I am there using your retinas. The composition has real dynamic flow - the bike and the wall are required to be bland as a "field" for the "mark" of the red bucket and colorful fruit, the detail of the interesting face. And the golden mean seems to work to target the face. It should be a nice photo and ... lookee, it is.
