“Alfred, I'm inside the complex and making my way to the Cyber Division. Any news for me?” With modern micro technology Batman's head gear and Robin's eye mask were fitted with video overlay imaging. From the Batcave Alfred could transmit images of any type, from schematics, to maps to video. Additionlly Robin wore an ear bud and a mic was fitted to his eye mask and Batman's head gear was outfitted air filtering besides the video/com set up. This allowed for much greater and more efficient sleuthing. Somtimes answers could be found right away by Alfred cross referencing with Bruce's data base and the world wide web.
“Indeed I do Master Todd. It does not look good. The security video is done. It is very broken and pixelated, but provides enough information. I've isolated the most telling video and am sending it to you now.”
Before Jason's eyes a garbled and pixelated image appeared. It was ghostlike because he could still see his immediate surroundings. To those unfamiliar with viewing this way, it was as if the video was playing out right in front of him. The video was an overhead shot of the same foyer where he and Gordon were talking to Dr. Bryce. Dim lighting showed Batman and Wonder Woman ending a fight with some heavily armed guards. A few moments passed as the two heroes assessed their situation. The video cut in and out and blurred in to pixels as it went by. There was no audio. After those few moments it showed the two again, but they looked focused back from where they'd come. Next into the scene was a larg four legged mech of some sort. In a few instances, the mech discharged energy first at Diana, then Bruce, taking both of them down. The video resoulution worsened and stopped, but not before showing a female figure with long black hair in a long coat followed by several other people, including a woman in a lab coat that was obviously Julia.
“What the hell was that Alfred?! Bruce never talked about robots like that.” Jason exclaimed.
“Indeed sir. I'm afraid this is very bad.”
“That woman in the coat, was that the best you could see of her?”
“I'm afraid so.”
“It's got to be Bryce. But she's either working for someone or not who she says she is. Ya know Alfred I think this qualifies as an emergency and you should contact JJ, er J'onn J'onzz.”
“Way ahead of you sir. He should be in the vicinity in about two hours.”
“Excellent. But I hope that's soon enough. Okay Alfred, what I need next is a feed for the building plans for all the utility corridors and any of Bruce's secret passages. I know most of them, but the more info, the better.”
“Right away sir. And I have a hunch I'm going to follow up on who this Dr. Bryce might really be. I'll do some digging and let you know if I find anything. Keep your comm open and I will assist you in finding where Master Bruce and the Princess may be held.”
“Right on Al.” Robin was moving through the dark and shadow the whole time he was talking to Alfred. He eventually was leaping and swinging from rooftop to rooftop until he was on top of the Cyber Division building. “I'm on the roof and heading in. I'll stay in contact as long as I can. Eventually RF blocking walls will cut me off from you so send me as many floor plans as my flash memory can hold.”
“Acknowledged sir and good luck.”

Jason went into the building the same way Bruce and Diana had, through the janitor's closet. But from there he went over the catwalk to the floor and into an empty office. It seemed no one ever occupied this office. Behind the spotless desk was a false wall. In a small room hidden behind the wall another corridor led to the lower levels of the Cyber Divison building. The room had a small supply of useful items, like nylon ropes, flashlights, a couple of knives and even a few of Bruce's specialty Battarangs. Smoke, flash and stun versions. Jason thought it might be good to have all three, considering what he might be facing, and took all he could carry efficiently. He moved through the narrow corridor until it ended at a utility access corridor. He opened the secret door on his side and entered the utility corridor and continued downward following pipes and wiring conduit. LED lighting lined the corridor to allow for a constant source of light even with out power. The LEDs would run on battery power for weeks. “You still there Al?” “Ye.. ir...ut...break.....up.” “Yeah, you too.” “Use a wire.......duit....boost....” “Don't worry Alfred, I'm alright, so far.” “... sir...always worry.” Jason continued on his wasy and then came to a steel wall blocking the corridor. He paged through the schmematics he had and nothing indicated this wall should be here. He was level with the main research lab. The plans indicated an empty room below that and another one below that with the utility corridor extending all the way. The only thing left below was the main water and energy plant below the whole complex. Jason took a few more minutes to go through the building plans to see what he could find. He soon found that if he could get to the heavy utility level then he could come right up to the room just below the main lab. It seems that janitor closets and restrooms were fitted into these empty spaces in anticipation of further expansion. He would have to gamble that those rooms were still there if Bryce has now occupied those spaces. The easiest way looked to be to a restroom. He'd have to make a hole in the floor but he could do that with some thermite string he had. The biggest problem there would be noise. Following the building plans, Jason backtracked and found another utility corridor that led him to the lowest level. Level 1. Now he understood why the main entrance to the Cyber Division was called level 5. It took him about fifteen minutes to get there, but so far so good. “Hey Al. You there?” No answer. “Oh well.” Jason checked the floor plans, made a mental map then dropped into the open space. It was a huge area with massive machinery, holding tanks, chillers, and anything related to basic plumbing, HVAC and electrical utilities. There was a constant throb and hum of working equipment, but was surprisingly quiet considering the size and extent of the place. He took off at a run and made his way across the large open space. He needed to go up and so, made his way up steps and scafolding and across catwalks going ever higher. He was near his destination running across a raised platform when a heavy metal door ahead of him opened and metal nightmare walked through. Continued....
