Description
Harleen approached the recreation cell and entered the code on the electronic panel lock. Without noticing, her hitch hiker leaped from it's concealed spot and clung to the wall, looking like a rather small spider. A closer inspection would reveal that it was a manufactured spider with a bio/cybernetic body. Full analysis would reveal that it had the RAM for carrying out simple instructions, such as opening an electronic lock.
She entered the cell and saw what she expected. Him lounging and watching TV. She had managed to get him this much. He at least had a view on the outside world now. The programming was censored, but allowing in the news and some other family friendly shows were allowed. However, he only watched the news and the occasional chuckle was heard when the news was tragic. She closed the door behind her. Without her noticing, the spider mech jumped onto the door's keypad and began working.
“G'mornin' Mr J, how are ya?”
“Oh my sweet Harleen, better than ever. Did you see the news?”
“Not yet.” She placed her binder and papers on a table that was in the room and looked up at the TV mounted to the wall. A news caster spoke on last nights events.
“Last night there was an apparent break in at Wayne Technologies Cyber division. Sources say Batman and even Wonder Woman showed up, but it turned out to be a false alarm. Bruce Wayne could not be reached for comment, but he released a recorded statement this morning.
“A message to the press and other concerned parties that last night's emergency was a false alarm and everything is under control.”
The newscasters continued, but Harleen wasn't listening. She had her hand to her mouth and felt bad for what she had been thinking about Bruce. “So that's why he left.”
“Short night last night darling? The plan didn't go as planned? No nookie for him or you? HOO HOO!”
“Yeah, you said it Mr. J. I'm sure I had him. And he's not such a bad guy after all.” Harleen said.
The Joker's face soured a bit at that. “Dear!” His eyes turned sad. “I'm hurt. I thought we had something here?”
Harleen immediately turned her full attention back to her patient. “Oh puddin, don't worry. I'm sure he'll want to make it up to me and that he'll feel so bad that he'll give me whatever I want.”
His frown turned to that giant smile again. “Oh yes my dear! I'm sure he would, but our time table has changed and I'm leaving this place for good right now.”
“Wh...What?” Harleen was truly confused.
“That's right darling. You and I are going to walk out of here together right now.” His smile turned toothy and fiendish.
“Awwww, Mr J. you're just pullin my leg.” Harleen said, but not sounding sure of herself.
“Pulling your leg darling? I would never do such a thing, hoo hoo. Though I do love those legs, hah hah!”
“Puddin' what's dis about.” She was sounding more alarmed.
With that, she heard a click and the cell opened.
“Hah Hah Hah. Timing is everything in comedy, don't you think Harleen dear?”
“Whats goin on! I'm the only one with code!” Harleen declared.
“Not any mor ore.” Joker said in a sing song voice.
The door swung open full and Ian was standing there. “Time to go Mr. Joker?” He asked.
“No time like the present. Hoo hoo hoo.”
Harleen saw that Ian had covered his face in white face paint and put red lipstick on his lips. He removed his hat and donned a green wig.
“Wait! Wait Mr. J.! I could lose my job and license over this! I can't help you escape. You need help here and we can do it together. We have to do it the right way and then you'll never have to come back.”
Joker's morphs are by me and his skin texture is Sshodan's Elven Lord. The white skin of Sshodan's character was perfect for this.
Thanks for stopping by. The Joker is simultaneously fun and disturbing to work on.
