He looks wonderful Janet - but if he is like my Siamese, she'd be meowing with each step LOL...they do love to talk. Bravo! Excellent job on the walk.

That's a great start man! Cats being the flexible things they are, there probably should be some more shoulder action visible. And they walk on their toes so there should be a lot of tension and spring on his back legs, similar to what you have on the front ones. Awesome stuff!

I think it's awesome, considering the limitations of the model. IIRC, none of the DAZ animals actually have shoulders that move. :-(

Looking good! The leg motion is great! If you need help, Google Edward Muybridge, you should find some great frame-by-frame examples of big, and little cats moving. I used his images to animate my big kitty. Great start!!! Happy holidays!!

This is good, but I think the feet in the front seem to flip and almost bend. I would think that the leg and shoulder moves but the paw has a slight bend that would make it almost parallel to the ground. But I could be wrong. Other than that, I think this is a really great start.

Lol pretty cool man. Its a bit choppy but you get the point. I would sway the torso from left to right slightly when he/shes steps. And the shoulder blades need movement petruding up with each step as well. And I agree with amota99517 about the feet flicking back into place. But all in all your getting there, hell of alot better then what I could do with animation lol. It'd probably look like it was having a seizure if I tried it lol.

it looks fine only..well...the thing is, over the years my family has had a bunch of cats, prolly in the thirties, and i can't recall EVER seeing a cat actually just walk. i've seen them crawl and run and dangle, i've seen them lunge and chase and flee, i've seen them balance and stumble and dance, i've seen them jump, skip and pounce...i've seen cats strut their stuff, nonchalont and lazy and i've seen them powerstroll like the royalty they are, i've seen them twist and swirl and spin and explode - i've seen them do everything but i've never seen them just walk. This being said, i feel unqualified to feedback on this particular animated cycle :)

Wow! You certainly put a lot of work into that animation. Well done. There were some small refinements that could be made, such as mentioned with the shoulder action, swaying of the torso and walking more on the toes with the hind feet. But, these are minor adjustments, as you have the major action working very well. Great job! And for anyone that hasn't seen the latest editions of The Cat Pack, you don't know what you're missing: http://www.gothicblend.net/index.php?name=News&catid=&topic=6
