wow this is gorgeous, Tom...and I'm trying to find the itsy bitsy gal in the bug's center top (goldie), but I don't see her---I do see what looks like two India goddesses on either side of the top, and your usual mythic forms in the center---which could be seen as a number of female or male characters in mythic formation. The bright yellows against those deep reds are gorgeous. And the deep reds and browns and golds, etc, are equally gorgeous. This is a bejeweled bug...and your choice of rich caramel-like orange for the background is perfect too. A rich confection of an image, it's beautiful.
