well this one started out quite normal and then it turned weird all by itself muahahahahah.
i found out that recently lots of vendors (especially at daz)started to create optimized textures and such for iray and luxrender (only)without giving the user the opportunity to choose between 3delight and iray.
Now i know personally that +- 80% of my viewers dont even have the equipment to work with such huge textures, and besides this in my opinion +- 90% of the viewers dont even see or dont care about the difference.i for myselff took the decision that i will closely examine what i am buying in the next future especially at daz with their crap encryptioned files and daz direct-connect mumbo jumbo.
I guess i will save quite some money as my shopping sprees will diminue big time.not my fault but such is life,i dont want to go as far as when loosing the key to my frontdoor that i have to buy a complete door or when i have a flat tire i have to buy a new car or what ??(lol) .
i hate it when “society”wants to squeeze me in a scheme of their own, thats one of the reasons i become ever more a-social.end of RANT!!!!.
vp/sparky hairdresser/salon vanishing point.

You are so right with your rant, Rene! I couldn't agree more that we are trying to be squeezed into their moldy mold, so to speak. lol A fun looking scene here btw. Splendid work!

Hair dresser, I find it hard to relate to this one being foliccally challenged. It fell of and where ever it landed it started growinf, so I have hair in weird places.

I agree about them, but better not bad mouth them. I do recall them having the top in quality 3d figures every since V4 was released. prior to V4 I liked V2 and V3 because there was little choice
I like the expression and pose of the hairdresser almost falling over her chair. a humorous scene

Oh I so agree with that rant on all points. I hate Daz connect and that encrypted stuff with a passion. While I prefer rendering in Iray, I don't think people should be forced in to buying or using Iray only content, especially if it means buying a new rig just to run the software. This is a hobby, it doesn't justify the expense. I'm also drastically cutting back on my spending. As it is, I have enough content to keep me busy.

This is wonderful! Hairdressers breathe in so many fumes that it is not unusual for them to get a little strange.

I'm on board with ya, Doc! I don't see myself doing a whole lot more shopping at DAZ (I'll be canceling my Platinum when it gets close to renewal), and my spending even here at Rendo is waaayyyy down. Seems like 98% of the new content is all for Genesis 3... If I ever get around to rebuilding this computer, I'll probably put DS on it just for giggles. But I'll be using PoserPro 2014 and the Mil 4 figures (and Dawn) for the foreseeable future. I'm not that impressed with Poser 11, either - waaaay to unstable, and the superfly renders take forever for just a simple scene. I can't even imagine using it for some of the stuff I do (especially some of the TNA scenes).
Anyway, you nailed it - I guess the folks at DAZ figure they have everyone hooked, now it's time to reel us all in for the kill.
