the sorry jerk that worked on my refrigerator never came today to really fix it. the upper part of the freezer does not freeze but the bottom part freezes. the produce drawer freezes and ruined many veggies. $500 gone and not fixed. he never bothered calling to let me know that he was not coming over. good I still had some food. I will put it in the garage for emergency use in the future when it is fixed properly

I'm afraid I have no idea what brand of car this is. I'm sorry to hear about your trouble with the repairman.

Take everything out of the fridge, unplug it and let it thaw out with the doors open, there's a slight chance that it might work again, if you leave it off for a couple days.

as Twisted says:-

It's the way newer fridges go down to temperature. We had a similar fault with a BRAND NEW just been released model and we left the fridge off...Not for a couple of days, but there's an on-off switch that should be left at OFF and it is easy to catch it when you're placing tall bottles around the fridge light area.
It eventually corrected itself even though it was turned ON and doors left closed! lol Within about FOUR days it had gone through cycles to work normally once again.
As for that numpty who called to your house, he seriously need injuring severely! I have no pity on con-men and women!

Looks like quite the kit-bash - but really a cool creation! Great find and photo, Richard!
I have absolutely no patience for underhanded repair guys like that. I'd file a complaint with the State Attorney General's Office. That usually gets their attention. And results.
