Description

The eclipse of Aug. 21, 2017 as photographed with the simple technique of holding the eclipse glasses in front of my little Nikon Coolpix. Yes, I was right along the path of totality near Saint Louis, but this is the only direct sun photo that turned out. Maybe that was because I was drinking Schlafly "Eclipse" beer at the time. I had a most excellent time.

Very cool! I live in Independence, Mo - we had about 22 seconds of totality here. It was an amazing experience nonetheless. The best photos I got were actually reflections in a puddle of water in my driveway! LOL
