Description
Trying to find a way to use all my sky and clouds images. Here are 3, merged into a single texture.

Poser figure, one large lattice with the cloud texture, a few skinny cones of fog! It really slowed the render where they intersect, in the hand. He's emerging from a large volumetric cloud sphere. Sun's off, using 20 lights (12 in a ring around the figure). Rendered 1600x1200, overnight.

Incredible. Such a powerful image. I like the way the sky is reflected, it gives a great symmetry to the image. Wonderful work.

I'm a small "r" religious person - that is, I'm sure there's something bigger than us, but I don't necessarily know what. That said, this image immediately made me think of "And God said, let there be light". I should think conjuring light from utter darkness took some serious pain and effort. Very powerful image, from the beginning of all things.
