Description
Taken last week on a trip through Dorset. this is a view across what I call the 'Askers Valley, Bridport can be seen in the distance and the English Channel can be seen on the left horizon.

Marvellous photo, Jeff! Years ago I was making a daily journey to Bridport from Bournemouth to do a week's craft market, and one day I lost two cylinders by the time I got to Askers hill. It is a tribute to Volvo that my extremely elderly vehicle made it into town eventually firing on only one cylinder. That car had Stromberg carbs so after the incident I always kept a spare diaphragm in the boot!
I never see this view without that memory!
