Description

I harvested this fern, scanned it on my scanner. [It may be a "Microlepia strigosa"]. The scan became a symmetrical lattice object, paper-thin and hard as a board. Multi-replicated in a tapering helix, a bit-o-jittering, lights, camera, and it begins to look like the whole plant again. This is my first attempt to play with the "Expert AA mode", 64 rays/pixel at 1200x1600, here reduced to 768x1024. -*- Thanks for a-viewin' ...and a-commentin'. Hyukyuk!

This looks really cool. THe shadows are excellent. You could put a few of these together and sell them. Well done.

:-( Are you entering this into the challenge? I see my slim chances slipping further away. ;-) This is really very nice. You gonna share the fern?

Damn that's good. The interplay of the dappled light and the detailed elements make for an incredible effect!
