first, barb, I'm relieved to see you here, as your area--accdg to reports--was hit with the deluge side of the hurricane, and I hope you and your mom and family got through it ok. Hope you didn't have floods, outages, etc. Good to see you posting a day later.

Another gorgeous shot...I was at Cape Ann a few times (Cape Ann, right? hope I don't look like an idiot!), but your pics have brought it all back to me, the rock formations are almost sculpted and assembled by a great artist. I love how you caught the long fingers of the cape, mixed with the smaller chunks which I assume were assembled to make a small garden on the right. And then the ocean---I don't remember it ever being so calm, maybe because I was there in stormier days; but it's gorgeous...and the sail boats are like winged creatures in the distance. You caught the 'slash' of the rocks as they cut across your image. Beautiful...this series is a revelation. Hope you're all ok back home...

Yes, Cape Ann contains the towns of Rockport, Essex, Manchester-by-the-Sea and the city of Gloucester.

We're fine, the hurricane brought lots of wind and rain, but not too much damage, here.
