Cpl Riggs Mission Report (Part 2)
With the entire team's every weapon trained on the the doorway to the hive, we lit that room up, Cpl Martinez tossed the first M-911 into the room. The flash illuminated both rooms as it detonated. Never one to go small, Raggedy Man, barked, "put another one in there," "Affirmative to that," I yelled above the sound of the first explosion. Martinez bounced another M-119 on off the wall and into the room. It too flashed bright as it went off with a muffled 'boom'. We could feel the heat of the explosion on our faces. Nothing inside of that room was going to get through the doorway. If it ran, walked, crawled, or slithered, it took rounds from us.
