lol, I would tell this guy, there ARE smaller crabs ya know (you feeding an army???)...I love that the crab is brandishing a big pot at the cook (I asume that's what he's doing!) And the cook counters with a hatchet. I can picture the crab shouting, "I've been rounded up, caught, stuck in pots with, like, 2000 other crabs---none of whom I liked---thrown back, caught again---you lay one freaking finger on me, I'll hit you over the head!" (Nice cookingware too...) Bright scene, and I love the patterns on the side of the stove. But that pot-waving crab is the best. (In my childhood, my father had an expression---instead of "eat it before it gets cold," he'd say, "eat it before it gets mad..." needless to say, my mom wasn't crazy about that expression...)
Teri, I'm at 50 minutes in your gallery, so I have to stop for now. But I'm determined to get to them all, so I'll get the rest in the next few days. In July, you said you were getting back to normal activities, driving into town, etc etc. I hope it's even better now. And I hope you're all healthy, covid-free, and strong. (And that your summer wasn't one of the baking ones, or flooded ones, or fiery ones...) Take care, and great to sit with your art once again!
