Wetting my apettite for wet stuff.., using my own shaders.
No postwork, never ever.

Indeed it is... And it looks really nice on skin! Great job on this!

Your shaders are looking good. I would love to hear more about the wet shader work you are doing. It isn't an easy effect to get right. I am still struggling on everyone I try.
Thank you very much, my dear friend. Your generous words always make me very happy.😊💖💖💖💖💖💖🥰🥰🥰🥰
Don't worry, top universities are still doing intensive research on the wet effect. More has been achieved in quantum entanglement than the wet effect though.. A very basic wet effect you can achieve using volumetrics. From there on, any slightest advance is lots of work, not only with the surface shader itself but the lighting as well. Keep in mind, a higher tesselated mesh will allow more light to pass through. As you know, a wet surface lit from front will get material a bit darker while the interface between the material and skin will have augmented colour tones. The same material lit from behind looks translucent and much brighter than the dry areas. Keep in mind, we mostly can control - in probably any rendering engine - the particle light behaviour, not the wave behaviour which photons do at the very same time. Thus, any implementation of the wet effect will not be able to implement the wave behavior so we shall miss a full, real wet effect in the near future, provided one knows how it happens and why. The wet effect I mean.
