A dragon enters the scene. This is the very old and highly adjustable Daz Millennium Subdragon. I used the Hellfish Studios Great Dragon pack from Rendo as a start point, and I massaged the textures. I also used the surprisingly excellent normal map plugin bundled with current versions of the GIMP to provide some decent surface bump. If you haven't tried this, the plugin has several different options for generating the normal map form a grayscale bump map. I found the Prewitt 3x3 setting gave me the best results for this creature, but other settings may work better for other projects.
The background is DM's Cave of Secrets that I got with the Adventuring Party bundle at the Daz store. As frequently happens, I had to adjust the settings on every material to get the desired result. I also had to tweak the lighting. I think it was worth the effort. As usual, I've gone with 3Delight in Daz Studio for the render.
Thanks for looking!

I love that dragon! Feels good to see him again in a render! Great job!

I like the way the column textures and the dragon hide seem so harmonious.
