Description

The first one this year captured in our garden. Anthocharis cardamines, the orange tip, is a butterfly in the family Pieridae. I love butterflies, and especially of this kind. They look so tender and fragile, so volatile and small. Thank you very much, dear friends.

Whenever I see your nature photography, I see how they inspired some of your fractal art. Your fractal art is like a personal 'bow' to nature's patterns. This butterfly---photographed beautifully---shows all the intricate patterns and veins and sweeps that your fractals have. I love the green-yellow patterns---and then, suddenly, you have rich bright oranges. We can see the veins in the leaf too. (And some of the insect's hairs.) A beautiful, typical butterfly shot from you.
