I defended myself
weeping
from the warm earth spurted
drenched me like wine
at the door of that house
I looked at the smile of inert amazement
where there is no more hope
of the human beasts that eat at us
kill us hurt us
only she shuts her chest
like a blade flower
protect her soft
craziness

da vida defendi-me
dos prantos
da terra morna jorravam
embebia-me feito vinho
na porta daquela casa
olhei o sorriso do espanto inerte
onde já não há mais esperança
das feras humanas que nos corroem
nos matam nos ferem
sómente ela cala no peito
como uma flor em lamina
a protejer minha suave
loucura
