Description
Upgraded my "Velvet" character to G8! Went through several different outfits. She didn't mind. She used to do that for Mistress all the time.
I hope to be getting back to this book fairly soon. I'm getting some idea of where it will go next. Sometimes the problem with writing is having an idea that is TOO fresh. But, you let it stew a while, and then see what happens.
Of course, I got a few other problems, like having too many books to get to! I'm halfway through a sequel to one of my previous works, and I simply MUST get started on book four of my fantasy series... If only I had the baility to multiply myself as-needed, lol.
Anyway, converted to G8F using SY's converter. Applied my velvet shaders. Got her clothed and placed somewhere fun. I want to do another with her needle-sword, but this took quite a bit of time already so I decided it could wait a bit. Maybe I'll have her facing some baddie or another, hmm?
I'm thinking of reworking her just a bit for the steampunk, game too. Whatcha think?

She is a quite fun character. Most definitely use her in some other Genres. It’s fun to see you having fun with the character. Very nice work.
Thanks. She's just too much fun to let sit by the wayside, even if I don't finish her book. I think I will, though. Honestly, I really got to get back to writing. I've been pushing myself to be more "visible" to my friends, and I know I haven't been in the right headspace to write. But... I think this week I'll be pushing myself to get the novel I'm working on done, maybe through some words Velvet's way, and get ready to start Book Four of my Fantasy series.

I hear ya on the writing - too fresh stuff.. I have soooo many ideas I could incorporate into the TNA story, but I need to sort out a bunch of it and figure out where to put it, or if to even use it at all. Some of the stuff I've already written seems..... Shall we say ... a bit too close to reality lately..
Yeah, I hear that. Often if I feel strongly about a world event, I'll write something of an essay about it, and let it sit. So many times, something that seems SOOOO important today becomes irrelevant in a week or two.
I also try to keep real-world stuff out of my fiction. I write mostly lesbian characters, but I've made it a point to not push the narrative into whatever buzz-trend is going on when I'm writing it. I focus, instead, on the relationships themselves. I didn't start writing such work to make a statement. I like to think that ten years from now, it will still read the same, rather than having relied upon real-world issues.
The other thing is to be careful not to rush off on every Shiny New Idea, lol. Best to let some of them simmer a while.
