Description

This rendered quick, so here I thought I'd get it posted before laying down.

This is Madame Fhoot. Another NPC for my game. She, as you might be able to tell, is a Vampyre. Now, Vampyres are the subject of much propaganda. In this world, they are creatures of Fae. Some of "Natural" Vampyres, meaning they were born as Vampyres. Others are "Reborn." Meaning they were turned. Now, turning another creatures is frowned upon strongly, as a freshly turned "Reborn" goes through a period of bloodlust, and this is definitely not good for the rest of them. Especially since public opinion already paints them as monsters.

Madame Fhoot has strong powers over the domain of "Rhythm." Some see this as having power over time itself, and she isn't in any hurry to correct that notion. I think I will tell you more next time I render her up.

I know I haven't been commenting much. I've been dealing with seasonal depression (On top of my normal depression) and so I haven't been on as much. I try to get a few in every day. I promise I'm still around - and I hope they get the emails fixed soon! Using the activity feed isn't as efficient for me.

Madame Fhoot sent one player to retrieve a power artifact from a corrupt Lord. This was a fun encounter, as the player hadn't learned anything about the Vampyres yet, and automatically acted suspicious and nervous. It was just perfect, since I'm using traditional vampire lore to create propaganda. Some of it is true, but not all of it. Fun stuff, and I just know the players will be meeting her again.

The blue brick pattern came from RenderHub. Eyes are Twizted Metal's. Base character is Benita for G8F on the Daz store, with the Turban from a Turban and Beard for G8M set. Her dress is from Fair Winds. I couldn't get the cape to work right, so I ditched it.

A very interesting character very well done!

Hang in there, I can relate with the depression. One of the reasons I'm pushing to do more upbeat seasonal images. Does it help? I'm not sure but at least it doesn't hurt; just takes more effort.

I think that's why I'm doing so much NPC character art. It's not as elaborate as other work I've done, but there's certain satisfaction that comes with putting together a character, and another if you manage to create a fast-rendering scene.
