Great capture of the setting sun shining through the flag, Rod...All my males relatives of my Pop's generation served in WWII. They are all gone now, but I know how much their service meant to them...We should reflect on the sacrifice the men and women and their families make while serving to protect our nation more than just one day out of the year.

Sure looks proud to be American Rod. Love the sunlight behind old glory. And a huge thank you to you, Mike and all in this country who served.

Trump is out thank God, but I for one are worried on how much havoc he will cause and how much he will turn our allies even more from our way in his time left in office. A bad vibe is him causing a war with Iran or N Korea.

Despite all his blather and BS, I don't think he has the power to do anything that radical. I hope not. Besides, he and Kim Dong Pooflinger are good buddies last I heard.. Birds of a feather and all that... 🙄 Saw a video earlier of him walking up and touching the wreath at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Almost threw up... He's the last person on the planet that should touch that hallowed ground and wreath.

A beautiful image for a great dedication--service meant everything to my father's and grandfather's generation, they continued to serve in different ways when they came back. We were lucky to have them and our current generation as well.

Thank you, Rod and to ALL that put on the uniform in the past, present and future! This is the very reason for my avatar. It is in remembrance of my dad in particular but also for everyone else who served. Cool photo from the "Show me" state!
