Another excellent realistic portrait!!! I don't know why, but I thought immediately about some Dutch painting of the seventeenth century...

Interesting how different eyes see the same picture; I don't get Gainsborough at all from this (blue notwithstanding); much more Ginsburg, Hopper and similar early 20th century portraits. In any case, its an exceptional character study.

An excellent work of art! what more can be said? Other than...I really like the realism of this image and how you managed to capture her, in a very personal and expressive way! She has that certain sense of innocence about her and yet her eyes denote a small tinge of sadness, while looking perfectly natural! Very well done! I like it! :-)

Thanks so very much for all the comments, and i must say, that it is so interesting to read that one picture can be seen in such a different way! Did you know that my first impression was the painting of that "famous" little boy with that tear on his cheek? This girl doesn't have a tear on her face,(Maybe she wasn't crying yet...) she has more a sort of melancholy expression on her face...but that is the way how i see her...I like it that you all share your vision on her expression, i appriciate it a lot!!

This looks like a fine art painting, yet so very real. I'd love to know how you got a V4 texture on G8. Some of my very favorite textures are for V4, so would love to be able to salvage a few of them, especially the ones by Fenrissa. Just so lovely!!!!

Thanks!! I like to work with the V4 textures from time to time. I used the Legacy UV's from Caymanstudio; Maybe this can help you? Cayman also sells more UV products on Daz3d.com.
