"On her journey to find the fabled city of Erstonia, Princess Onora finds a hidden glen where she makes camp to take a greatly needed rest."
The character, Princess Onora, is based on Charlotte 8, with several other morphs added. and the shaders adjusted to "taste". The hair is Classic Long Curly Hair. To get the hair to simulate/drape properly behind the shoulders, and to keep it away from the face, I added a wind node to blow it back. To help with the atmosphere, I added two "smoke" planes (one for above the fire, the other to give a trailing smoke from right to left. The lighting is an HDRI from HDRI Hub plus 8 spot lights (used for rim lighting). The environment used is Bend of the River, augmented by the HDRI (some of the far background trees are in the HDRI, the rest are actual geometry). The post work was virtually the same as the previous two images.
As usual, please be sure to zoom to full resolution to see the great details (3800 x 3200).
I hope you enjoy the image, thanks for stopping by!!

Exquisite work. If sometime you could tell me more about HDRI I would appreciate it. It's still a bit of mystery to me on how to use it effectively. A pointer to a good learning tutorial would be great.
Thanks! This tutorial on YouTube may help: HDRI Tutorial Feel free to ask any specific questions. Once you get an idea about what they are, then the rest is sort of intuitive .... maybe. They are great for lighting a scene, and provide fast renders, but using as lighting and a background they can be a bit more difficult (getting the scale right, etc.).

Brilliant work on this gorgeous image, my friend! I wouldn't mind stumbling on to this campsite. I'm sure she would, though! 😉
