On 7th December of 1941 the war in the Pacific began with the Japanese attack on Pear Harbor. It was the beginning of the end of Japanese empire. And it was the beginning of the end of colonialism in Asia. The first time, that non whites hit whites deadly in this dimensions. This was led to Malaysia, Burma and Netherlands East Indies with the defeat of European colonial forces. It changed Asia after the war. It was the first time USA was attacked on their soil in modern times.
Here we see a Nakajima B5N flying near big battle ships for an attack. The Nakajima B5N was not very well known then. It was the most modern torpedo bomber of it's days.

I like the "Kate" down at deck level. Lots of really nice detail and the smoke effects are terrific!
