Empireo by giulband ()
Free interpretation of part of Dante's journey to Paradise as narrated in the "Divine Comedy".
Beatrice accompanies Dante here and explains to him that the Empyrean (tenth heaven) is the heavenly Jerusalem where the chosen souls are citizens, even if the end of time is near and few are destined to enter it (the seat of Emperor Arrigo VII of Luxembourg, who died in 1313, is ready and a crown is placed on it.

Stunning work. Dante wasn't one of my favorite classics, but I like your interpretations.

I like the way the lines take us to a vertical infinity and their reflection irrigate the body of the central character like blood vessels.

Paradise? Scary! What Beatrice is showing is not the paradise that I have in my mind. However, this out of this world artistic creation is beautiful and impactful; I love it!

My reading did not include Beatrice or Dante's journey through "heaven", thus I am confused and become inspired to read once more... thank you :)
