measles caused far more deaths in 2018 (140,000 worldwide) but corona is no laughing matter
during 2019 there were more measles cases reported worldwide than in any year since 2006. More than 500,000 confirmed cases of measles were reported from more than 180 countries, many from large measles outbreaks.
