Description
View of a wildfire starting across the valley.
I took this in 2017. We ended up surrounded on 3 sides by wildfires.

Nice shot. I'm glad you didn't get burned out of your home.

Wow! It's been so long! Glad to know you came through it okay. I watched some of the wildfire news from Australia and was blown away. Kinda scary, because it's not getting any cooler. Maybe the current lockdown will alleviate some pollution and maybe some people will finally see the benefit of alternative fuels and energy. This is something of an ominous image knowing what's to come.

Looks like you have a dragon problem, I would recomend a wizard with strong water magic, lol. Cool pic if a bit scary... :)

I agree with your comments above, we need to address climate change, and very soon. THe smoke in this image is scary---because it's a beautiful landscape, and you captured a mix of strong light and shadow---it almost looks like it's going to pour on the front portion of your image. SO those billows of smoke make one wonder if the whole world won't be engulfed by the effects of climate. The image has a quiet and beautiful openness, and the smoke is scary at the same time. I hope you're all well, and I wish you freedom from the virus, and a cleaner healthier environment. Good to see you back here.
