A word on a page is only a word, unless you give it meaning.
Beneath the surface, lies its essence; building us up, or tearing us down.
Context is what gives it depth and substance.
Developing our eager minds, words help us form our opinions.
Emotions of love and hatred; faith or doubt.
Forever changing, expanding our knowledge of definition and significance.
Giving its reader a sense of belonging.
Hope and ambition for the future to come.
Identity and a purpose; daydreams and aspirations.
Just as inspiring to us now as it was to generations past.
Keeping us active with memories of by-gone eras.
Laughter provoking, or tear-jerking; it evokes both love and hate.
Memories of sadness and joy.
Nightmares of dark places and pain; yet also mending our hearts to love again.
Open and inviting to all who would see.
Panoramas of lushness and beauty.
Quaint little scenes of comfort and warmth.
Reminding us to reminisce with friends and family.
Sharing our stories of healing and hurt.
They take us on journeys to far-off places.
Understanding the deepest mysteries of the universe.
Visions of the strangest of places.
Worlds both foreign and frightening.
Xenophile or Xenophobe making.
Yes, neither young nor old can escape the impact of that word on a page.
Zillions of possibilities, or maybe just one.

Interesting concepts that I share both for the written pages and for the images, one of the reasons why I am here. I like the image you made.
