Description
Again a view to the catapult. Here a F-8E Crusader of VF-33 (Tarsiers) on USS Enterprise on her maiden cruise in 1962. The whole wing of the Crusader was tilted upward to give her more lift during take off.

Excellent scene! i wonder where you got the yellow-Jackets from...? Very well done! Maybe some steam out the slot from the catapult would give a little more drama and action?

Another beautiful deck scene! You put a lot of nice detail work into this. I especially like the detail of the bridle cable to shuttle hookup...a very nice touch! I agree with furnose on including steam coming from the shuttle track. It would be a great addition to the action. Keep 'em coming. These are great renders!

I grew up in the late 50s and into the 60s as my dad worked as an electrical engineer at Vought. So I KNOW this plane. Great to see it like this. Thanks for brining "the Last Gunfighter" alive like this.
