This image came out a lot different than I first imagined! I wanted to create a scene around this character/texture/makup (Sol for DAZ 3D was the base character, with a lot of additional morphs and some shader modifications), and the outfit. I just couldn’t find anything that seemed to work well with her, then I remembered I had AM’s cute little squirrel, and things got easier to set up (though rendering this little guy in Iray wasn’t super easy). The lighting is the default HDRI and the outfit is the Vernea Fae outfit. The outfit is dynamic cloth, so I ran a simulation to get it to drape properly on the posed figure. The squirrel uses strand based hair (Look At My Hair plugin) converted to fiber mesh hair to render in Iray.
Rendered in DS 4.12 Beta using Iray. Please zoom to full resolution (3,000 x 3,000)
Thanks for stopping buy!!

Excellent, charming scene. The tilt to the camera angle adds personality to the image. The only thing that seems a off (and just a tiny bit) is her eyes. If she is supposed to be looking at the squirrel as I assume, it doesn't look as if she is. That could just be me though, and it takes nothing away from the image. Well done.
Thanks for your detailed critique! I was hoping no one noticed the eyes, I thought I had them pointed perfectly .... until I was looking at the final render and realized they were slightly off. I know better now, in the future I'll re-render when the eyes aren't perfect, people DO notice!!

Those eyes look more than acceptable to me! After all, none of us has a perfectly symmetrical face!
