Continuing to learn a few things. Still learning to sculpt Poser morphs in Blender. Learned a lesson in not messing with edges :D
Also learned how to fit an usual V4 outfit. Auto-group is no-go for something like this. Something that makes things tricky is the waist La Femme has. Another tricky thing is skirts and things with helper bones. And yet another thing is scaled actors. The fitting room screws this up in so many ways.
The eventual workflow I came up with was to more or less fit the stuff by moving the clothing bones, then the morph brush. In making my gymnastic freebies, I learned a lot in using the morph brush :)
Then, once I get the shape done done, I export the morphed bit as an OBJ. Then reimport it. This bakes the morphs into a new object fit for La Femme. Then, rather than go to the fitting room, I go to the setup room. From there, I group as needed. For the skirt, this involved changing the hip group to waist. For the tights, this was grouping the ribbons and lace and feet properly. Then, from there, add the HR La Femme rig. This way, things like actor scales work correctly. In the fitting room, scales are a mess. The Doll character makes use of scales for the body. I like scales rather than morphs, where I can since the clothing (if it's done right) picks up the scales and I don't have to copy potentially messy morphs.
