After viewing my last image, people were clamoring for a reproduction. So, here it is! This is what you meant, right?? I remade my last image, "Fawn's Valentine," using Poser and a Firefly render. I could not get an exact translation because the DAZ Studio version used the Genesis 2 Female, and some clothes were not loading properly. So, it's good old Victoria 4 instead. The lighting setup here is similar to last time: - "Key" light aimed at the side of the face (spotlight) - "Fill" light aimed at the slightly left of front side, half as bright as the key light (spotlight) - "Hair" light aimed at the top/back of the head (spotlight) - "Cheater" Diffuse IBL light at a very low setting to prevent dark areas from going pure black. This is not necessary in DAZ Studio when using Iray, but often is with 3Delight. Poser gives a more accurate preview of what the final lights will look like. However, DAZ Studio allows users to look "through" lights as if they were cameras, and this makes placing lights easier. (Poser's Shadow Lite Cameras are not the same thing, and I would advise you to avoid them unless you have a good reason.) Many books have been written on the subject of this lighting setup and corresponding poses. I will not go into more detail for now. Maybe someday I will really break it down, if people are interested. Until then... I don't know who this young pretender is in the picture, but she's ready to write a love note.
