Description

This is my adaptation of an addition to the Earth Alliance fleet from Babylon 5.The new Delta Class Advanced Tactical Destroyer called the “Icarus”. The Icarus also doubles as a research vessel for deep space exploration in search of “The First Ones” an ancient race from a distant galaxy to help end the shadow war. Just paying homage to my favorite all time Sci-fi show from the early 90s, this might shed a little light for the modular design of the ship. Basic base mesh modeled in Sketch up Pro .Then all the rest of the final modeling and detailing / rendering in Cinema4D. Cheers,Michael.

We share a common love of Babylon 5 ! Nicely done model and presentation.

This certainly has the Earth Alliance look to it, though no rotating section I see.

Does this precede or come after 'the Icarus' that found the Shadows?

If my memory serves me right which is not all that great nowadays ,I believe that the Icarus was responsible for the awaking of the Ancient ones from a long hibernation. The Icarus kind of had a ghost ship type status. I have to place a hold on the DVD set from the local library to brush up on the story line its been a while.
