This has been sat gathering dust on my pc for a couple of years. Finally got round to finishing it. 3 separate renders for the landscape, planets, and stars. Thanks for looking.

So convincing, if the air was breathable it looks like an appealing place for a holiday. I like the sense of reality you manage to create here, it does look like the place could be real.

My goodness sweety.. I just love your sky's how do you do it?? I can always get a good sky in my Bryce five, but nothing like this... Just wow!!!!! Great job.!!! I'm actually working on a new image for the first time in years and years.. hehe ~Kristena (aka, Wolfsgirl)
The sky is just a custom one. I usually switch off the sun and use a spotlight as explained here https://www.renderosity.com/mod/tutorial/?tutorial_id=2281 I downloaded some nebula brushes and opened a document in PS. Set background to black and applied the brush in white. Then in Bryce, I created a lattice and in the terrain editor imported the nebula pic and applied it to the terrain. Then I flattened the lattice and placed them in the sky. Next i applied a material using the presets from the clouds and fog section. You can also change the color in the material lab. The planets were rendered in Bryce using custom mats with a simple black background. All 3 renders were taken into PS and using and object mask incorporated together by blending the planets to screen, and the stars to overlay.
